GE Datalandia

GE Datalandia was an advertising campaign designed to educate people about GE’s role in developing and innovating internet-of-things technologies. Datalandia was released as a set of stop-motion animated films— revolving around a world made out of miniature models and figurines— that were shown as movie trailers at movie theaters and pop-up spaces.

While serving as the Interactive Director at the experiential advertising agency Sub Rosa, we created an interactive photo booth that would insert participants into Datalandia as miniature figures. The photo booth recorded video of people inside, extracted their bodies from the video, and rendered them inside short video snippets which could be downloaded and/or shared on social media.
